Dera ismail khan: As part of the ongoing police martyrs’ week activities, traffic DSP Chan Shah and traffic In-charge Akhtar Munir visited the graves of police martyrs and paid tribute here on Monday.
According to the police spokesman, the officers offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks.
Later, the officers visited the residence of martyred police official Shaukat Maken, where they met his family members, inquired about their well-being, and presented gifts to the martyr’s children as a gesture of care and solidarity.
Speaking on the occasion, DSP Chan Shah said that police martyrs were the pride of the nation, whose unmatched sacrifices would always be remembered with honour and respect.
He said that the welfare and support of the families of martyrs remained one of the police department’s foremost responsibilities.
The visit concluded with special prayers for the eternal peace of martyr Shaukat Maken, patience and strength for his family, and lasting peace and stability across the country.
