Faisalabad: Two people, including a minor girl, were killed in two separate road accidents in the city on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122, a four-year-old girl, identified as Hurain, daughter of Asif, fell from a speeding motorcycle at a speed breaker near Al-Malik filling station on Jhumra Road. She was tragically run over by a tractor-trolley coming from the rear side and died on the spot. The body of the victim was later handed over to her heirs.
In a second accident, a dumper truck hit a motorcycle near Rasoolpura in the Khurrianwala area. Consequently, a 56-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Muhammad Shafique, son of Muhammad Latif and resident of Chak No 60-RB, received fatal injuries and died on spot.
Upon receiving information, the rescue teams reached the site and shifted the body to a Rural Health Center (RHC) under police supervision for completing necessary legal formalities.
