Peshawar: A faculty member of the University of Malakand (UoM) represented Pakistan at the prestigious CIP International Conference hosted by Case Western Reserve University in the United States, highlighting the university’s growing engagement in global research and academic collaboration.
Dr. Farman Ali, Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Work, attended the conference, which brought together scholars and practitioners from more than 25 countries to exchange ideas and research on pressing local and global social issues.
The conference featured discussions on refugee welfare, marginalized communities, human trafficking, and programme evaluation, alongside keynote addresses, research presentations, and sessions aimed at strengthening international collaboration in the field of social work.
Participants also paid tribute to community leaders and celebrated the contributions of social change-makers whose work has made a lasting impact on communities around the world.
Dr. Farman Ali’s participation underscored the University of Malakand’s commitment to expanding its international academic footprint and fostering cross-border partnerships in research and social work.
