Gujrat: A Kashmir Rally was held in Kharian to mark Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir and express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to official sources, the rally was led by Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondal and Chief Officer Municipal Committee Kharian Khawar Gujjar. Government officials, Municipal Committee employees, members of civil society and a large number of citizens participated in the rally.
The participants reaffirmed their support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and condemned India’s actions and alleged human rights violations in IIOJK. They also urged the international community to play its role in ensuring the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions on the Kashmir dispute.
