Bahawalpur: A young man died in a road accident after his loader rickshaw veered off the road while attempting to avoid hitting a dog in the Kotla Musa Khan area on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122, the victim’s family reported that the incident occurred when a dog suddenly darted in front of the vehicle. In an attempt to avoid the animal, the driver swerved, causing the loader rickshaw to lose control and plunge into a roadside ditch approximately three to four feet deep.
Rescue personnel stated that upon receiving the call, they immediately dispatched a team to the site. When rescuers arrived, they found the victim, identified as 25-year-old Shehzad, in critical condition with no vital signs.
The rescue team immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) however, despite their best efforts, he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
