Jatak condemns terrorist attack on police personnel in Ziarat, calling it cowardly and inhuman act


Quetta: Provincial Minister Haji Ali Madad Jatak on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police personnel in Ziarat district, calling it a cowardly, brutal and inhumane act.



In his condemnatory statement, he said that targeting police personnel while performing their duty is tantamount to an attack on the entire nation, such cowardly elements are not only enemies of law but also of humanity, who could not be forgiven under any circumstances.



He said that every conspiracy to harm the peace, development and stability of Balochistan would be foiled and the state institutions could bring the terrorists and their facilitators to their logical end.



Haji Ali Madad Jatak said that the blood of the martyrs would never go in vain, every drop of blood shed by the enemies of peace to be held accountable.



He said that the brave people of Balochistan, along with their brave police, security forces and all law enforcement agencies are standing like a leaden wall and this national struggle could continue with full force until the complete eradication of terrorism.



The Provincial Minister said that the government is using all possible resources to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and all the relevant institutions are fulfilling their responsibilities to the fullest extent for the establishment of law and order.



He reiterated the resolve that the evil intentions of the enemy would never be allowed to succeed.



Haji Ali Madad Jatak paid tribute to the police personnel martyred in the attack and prayed for their elevation in ranks, patience for the bereaved families and speedy and complete recovery of the injured personnel.



He said that the entire nation salutes the sacrifices of its martyrs and their immortal services would always be remembered.



BBoIT holds stakeholders’ coordination meeting to initiate planning for shrimp hatchery project at Gaddani


Quetta: Under the vision of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, to promote investment-led economic growth and unlock the province’s vast blue economy potential, the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT) convened an online coordination meeting with key stakeholders to initiate the planning and implementation process for the proposed Shrimp Hatchery Project at Gaddani.



The meeting was chaired by Bilal Khan Kakar, Vice Chairman, BBoIT. Participants included Dr. Allaudin from the Department of Fisheries, Asad Fawad representing Al Karam Group, the project’s architectural consultant Hamza, and Wajid Habib from BBoIT. During the meeting, participants reviewed the project’s preliminary roadmap and agreed on a series of immediate actions to ensure timely progress, said a news release.



Addressing the participants, Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar stated that the establishment of a modern shrimp hatchery at Gaddani would mark a significant milestone in the Government of Balochistan’s efforts to promote sustainable aquaculture and attract quality domestic and foreign investment. He noted that the hatchery would ensure a reliable supply of high-quality shrimp seed for commercial shrimp farming across the province, reduce dependence on imported seed, and create new employment and business opportunities for coastal communities.



He further stated that Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has consistently prioritized investment promotion, economic diversification, and value addition in sectors with high growth potential. According to him, the fisheries and aquaculture sector possesses enormous potential to generate employment, enhance exports, and contribute to sustainable economic development, making it one of the Government’s priority sectors.



The participants reiterated their commitment to working collectively and maintaining close coordination to complete the planning phase within the agreed timelines and ensure the project’s smooth progression toward implementation.



Kalat administration starts work to correct revenue records


Quetta: In light of the orders of Senior Member Board of Revenue Balochistan, the administration has started steps to maintain correct revenue records and provide facilities to the applicants.



The Kalat administration has strictly issued orders to the revenue officers to deal with the petitioners coming to the office with a smile and resolve their issues immediately so that the public would not face any difficulty.



In this regard, an important meeting of the Revenue Department staff was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Kalat Asad Sumalani.



The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Haji Abdul Ghaffar Lehri, Reader Assistant Commissioner Babu Sanaullah Muhammad Hassani, Tariq Murtaza Patwari, President Patwari Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal Patwari Muhammad Khalid, Patwari Moaz Ahmad, Patwari Muhammad Kashif and Patwari Naeem Ahmed.



The participants of the meeting gave the Assistant Commissioner a detailed briefing about the revenue transaction records and their work.



Assistant Commissioner Asad Samalani said that all the staff should improve their performance, keep all their revenue records correct, treat the applicants with a smile and solve their problems immediately so that the public does not face any difficulty. He said that the District Administration Kalat under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmad Durrani is using all means to solve public problems. It is the responsibility of the Revenue Department to maintain financial discipline with security and transparency in the records of lands.



Governor visits New Trauma Center to inquire about injured health in terrorist attack of Hanna Urak


Quetta: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday visited New Trauma Center, Spinny Road, where he inquired about the well-being of those injured in the recent terrorist attack in Hanna Urak.



He also directed the concerned authorities to provide all medical facilities immediately.



Provincial Minister Mir Asim Kurd Gello was also with him.



Governor Mandokhel met each injured person one by one and inquired about their well-being and also prayed for early recovery of the injured.



He expressed satisfaction over the better care of the injured and appreciated the efforts of the doctors and paramedical staff present there.



Clearance operation successfully concludes in Ziarat; nine police personnel martyred


Quetta: The Balochistan government has announced the successful completion of a joint clearance operation against terrorists belonging to the group referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij in Ziarat district. The operation was carried out by Frontier Corps (FC), Balochistan Police, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Special Operations Wing (SOW), and Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF).



Advisor to the Chief Minister on Political and Media Affairs, Shahid Rind, confirmed that nine officers and personnel of Balochistan Police embraced martyrdom during the terrorist attack. Among the martyrs were SHO of Mangi Police Station, SHO of Kawas Police Station, ATF In-charge Head Constable Saifullah, and several other officials.



He further said that DSP Ghulam Sarwar, along with eight police personnel, managed to reach Kach Police Station safely through difficult mountainous terrain. Constable Rizwan was also recovered unharmed during the operation.



The bodies of the martyrs are being shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Ziarat for legal formalities and post-mortem.



Shahid Rind emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs will never be forgotten, and the government of Balochistan salutes their courage. He reiterated that operations against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication, and the writ of the state will be maintained at all costs.



CM Sarfraz Bugti praises security forces for successful Ziarat operation against Khawariji terrorists


Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed satisfaction over the successful clearance operation carried out by police and security forces against terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in Ziarat district.



Sarfraz Bugti said the elimination of terrorists in the operation is clear evidence of the bravery, professionalism, and effective strategy of Balochistan Police and security forces. He commended the courage of police personnel who fought valiantly against terrorists, noting that their sacrifices in the line of duty have set an unparalleled example.



‘The martyrs of Balochistan Police are saluted by the entire nation. Their sacrifices will never go in vain,’ Bugti declared. He warned terrorists that Balochistan is a strong fortress of Pakistan, and anyone challenging the writ of the state will face only defeat and destruction.



The Chief Minister reaffirmed that indiscriminate operations against terrorists and their facilitators will continue until the last militant is eliminated. He stressed that those who raise arms against the state will find no refuge in Balochistan, as the province’s soil will be made inhospitable for them.



Sarfraz Bugti vowed that every drop of blood shed by martyrs will be accounted for, and terrorists will face either the grip of law or destruction. He emphasized that there will be no compromise on the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan, and every conspiracy against the province will be crushed with strength, determination, and national unity.



‘Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists are enemies of Pakistan and the people of Balochistan. Their evil designs will be defeated at all costs. Establishing peace in Balochistan remains our top priority, and this war against terrorism will continue until its logical conclusion,’ Sarfraz Bugti asserted.
