Quetta: A grand national flag hoisting ceremony was organized by the district administration to celebrate the 80th Independence Day in Loralai on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner Loralai Captain (R) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja hoisted the national flag.
A well-dressed police contingent presented a salute at the national flag hoisting ceremony.
Participants expressed their love for their homeland in the echo of the national anthem while special prayers were offered for the security, stability, development and prosperity of Pakistan in the Independence Day ceremony.
SSP Dr. Fahad Ahmed and other district officers, traders’ association and dignitaries participated in the ceremony.
Addressing at the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner said that Pakistan’s independence is a great blessing of Allah Almighty, we would fulfill our responsibilities for the development, peace, stability and prosperity of the country and nation in a full manner.
He said that our elders made unparalleled sacrifices for the Independence of Pakistan.
The speakers stressed in their addressing that the security, development and prosperity of Pakistan are the common responsibility of all of us.
They maintained that the sustainable development of all regions of the country, including Balochistan, is the guarantee of a strong Pakistan.
They highlighted that promotion of national unity, mutual tolerance and peace and stability is the important need of the hour, determination to make Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of unity, faith and organization the guiding light.
The speakers emphasized that it was our duty to play a full role for the security, sovereignty, development and prosperity of Pakistan.
The participants reiterated their commitment to work with national spirit to take Pakistan to the path of peace, development and prosperity.
An Independence Day rally was also taken out under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja.
Later, in connection with the Independence Day celebration, the participants also cut a cake along with Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja.
