Multan: The 79th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPandWB) Multan office on Friday.
The ceremony was organized on the special directives of Chairperson Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab Sara Ahmed. District In-charge CPandWB Multan Shafaat Zafar, children residing at the Bureau and staff members participated in the ceremony.
District In-charge Shafaat Zafar hoisted the national flag along with the children and staff, while a cake-cutting ceremony was also held to mark the auspicious occasion.
According to the Bureau spokesperson, the children residing at the CPandWB enthusiastically participated in the Independence Day celebrations and expressed their patriotic sentiments. They raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad,’ ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ and ‘Pakistan Army Zindabad.’
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer by the children for the security, stability, prosperity, and development of Pakistan.
