Quetta: Deputy Commissioner Hub Juma Dad Mandokhel along with Senator Danesh Kumar on Friday hoisted the National flag to mark the 80th Independence Day. The national flag hoisting ceremony was held at the green area of the nearby LIDA office.

A decorated contingent of police presented a guard of honor on the occasion of the flag hoisting.

The participants offered special prayers for the security, progress, prosperity and stability of the country.
Special arrangements were made for security at important government places and in the city on the occasion of Independence Day.
