Quetta: Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Women Development Department Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi on Friday said that the Asma Jattak case is a serious and worrying issue related to human rights, which could not be ignored at any level.
She said that the victim girl of Balochistan is seeking justice and every conscious person should support truth and justice above all interests.
In a statement issued here, she said that Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti is in constant touch with the victim’s family, while the Home Department is also fully active on this issue.
She mentioned that the Balochistan government is ensuring all possible steps to provide justice to the family of Asma Jattak adding that the Balochistan government is well aware of its responsibilities regarding human rights, protection of women and children and no victimized citizen would be left alone in seeking justice, transparent and effective action would be ensured in the Asma Jattak case as per the requirements of the
law.
The Adviser on Women Development said that any kind of cruelty, violence or injustice against women and children could not be tolerated, all sections of the society should show responsibility in such sensitive matters and become the voice of the victims and they should play their role in providing justice.
Dr. Rubaba said that Asma Jattak would definitely get justice, the Balochistan government is serious about this matter and stands with the affected family.
She said that providing justice is the primary responsibility of the state and in this case, the requirements of law and justice would be given priority at all times.
