Attock: Attock Police have arrested four individuals allegedly involved in drug trafficking during separate operations, recovering a total of 5, 400 grams of hashish (charas) and 160 grams of crystal meth (‘ice’).
According to police details, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Arshad Mahmood of Hazro Police Station, along with his team, recovered 2, 000 grams of hashish from Zeeshan Mahmood, son of Arshad Mahmood, a resident of Hazro, during a checking operation.
In another operation, Sub-Inspector Pervaiz Iqbal and his team recovered 2, 000 grams of hashish from Sameera, wife of Haq Nawaz, also a resident of Hazro.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Waheed of Attock Khurd Police Station, accompanied by his team, recovered 1, 400 grams of hashish from Hasnain Arshad, son of Muhammad Arshad, a resident of Mansar, Tehsil Hazro.
In a separate operation, ASI Tahir Ali Khan and his team arrested Ishaq, son of Jumma Khan, a resident of Haji Shah, Attock, after recovering 160 grams of crystal meth (ice) from his possession.
All four suspects were taken into custody, and separate cases have been registered against them under the relevant provisions of the law. Further investigations are underway.
