Hyderabad: Over a petty issue pertaining to road rage, a man allegedly struck a motorbike and later trampled the fallen motorbike riders under his car here in the limits of Qasimabad police station on Saturday.
The police spokesman informed that 2 teenage boys who were riding on that motorbike were severely injured in the incident which occurred near Abdullah Center locality close to the main Qasimabad road.
The spokesman identified the injured boys as Sikandar Ali Jakhrani and Abdul Qadir Abbassi who were shifted to the Liaquat University Hospital (LUH).
The crowd instantly gathered at the place of the accident and grabbed the car driver who was roughed up before being handed over to the police.
The incident has also been captured on a CCTV camera which clearly showed that the car deliberately hit the motorbike from behind and later the car driver trampled the fallen boys.
The spokesman told that the arrested car driver was later booked in an FIR with the charges of attempted murder at PS Qasimabad on the complaint of Jakhrani’s uncle.
