CEO SPAL chairs meeting to intensify sanitation operations


Lahore: On the directives of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. additional measures were being taken to improve the sanitation system across the province. including Lahore.



A meeting of the Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore’s cleaning operations teams was held under the leadership of CEO Sheryar Arif Khan to further improve sanitation operations in the city.



Deputy CEOs Operations Altaf Ansari and Mubeen Ahsan. town managers. fleet managers and yard managers attended the meeting.



During the meeting. CEO Sheryar Arif Khan directed the cleaning operations teams to ensure the provision of dustbins in markets and commercial areas and improve sanitation arrangements at vegetable and fruit markets. He also ordered the deployment of sanitation staff and machinery for timely waste collection from these areas. He stressed strict monitoring to ensure 100% door-to-door waste collection in all union councils of Lahore. He further directed that sanitation staff be deployed in three shifts around educational institutions. hospitals. parks and other public places to ensure cleanliness. He also said the agency was committed to providing better sanitation facilities to citizens under CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Suthra Punjab vision. He said providing citizens with a clean environment remained the top priority.
