Karachi: Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the central procession of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, during a visit to New Memon Mosque here.
General Secretary Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, Rafiq Shah along with other organizers, briefed the Commissioner on the route details, said a spokesperson. Deputy Commissioner South, Javed Nabi Khoso, senior police officers, and officials from relevant departments provided briefings on security measures, provision of civic facilities, and traffic management arrangements.
The Commissioner Karachi stated that Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) would be celebrated with utmost devotion and respect. Special security arrangements have been made for the occasion, and alternative traffic plans were being implemented to ensure smooth provision of civic amenities, he said.
He directed the Deputy Commissioner and concerned departmental officials to maintain coordination with the organizers and ensure optimal arrangements, completing any pending work before 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
On this occasion, General Secretary Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Rafiq Shah informed that the central procession would commence at 3 PM from New Memon Mosque and conclude at Nishtar Park, where a grand gathering to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) would be held.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and provincial ministers would participate in the procession.
