District

Wah cantt: City Police Officer (CPO) Hasan Mushtaq Sukhera conducted surprise inspections of the Taxila and Wah Saddar police stations on Sunday to review policing standards, public service delivery and administrative arrangements, police officials said.

During the visits, Sukhera inspected front desks, official records, lock-ups, police station premises and other operational facilities. He reviewed the overall functioning of both police stations and issued directives aimed at improving efficiency and the quality of public services.

The CPO instructed officers to ensure the prompt resolution of citizens’ complaints, stressing that police stations serve as the primary point of contact between the public and law enforcement.

“A police station is the first point of contact for the public, and every effort must be made to address citizens’ issues at the police station level,” Sukhera said.

He reiterated that protecting the lives and property of citizens remained the police’s foremost responsibility and said there would be no compromise on professional conduct or service delivery.

Sukhera also directed officers to maintain strict discipline, improve public interaction and ensure that all policing functions are carried out in accordance with the law and departmental procedures.
