Multan: Newly posted Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Faisal Saleem assumed the charge of his office here on Monday and chaired a meeting to review the performance of district departments. During the meeting, the deputy commissioner received detailed briefings on ongoing development projects, the city’s beautification initiatives, and infrastructure schemes. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hafiz Muhammad Mudassar Nawaz, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) Mohsin Nisar and other senior district officials. Addressing the participants, Muhammad Faisal Saleem, said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was taking keen interest in the development of the region. He pledged to work with dedication for the progress of the “City of Saints. He directed all government departments to improve their performance and provide maximum relief to citizens through better service delivery. The deputy commissioner also warned strict accountability over poor performance and negligence.
