Larkana: Deputy Commissioner(DC) Qambar Shahdadkot Kamran Mushtaq Shaikh held meeting over on 12th Rabi-ul Awwal at the Darbar Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Office Qambar Shahdadkot on Tuesday, to finalize arrangements for the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal, the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa.
The meeting was attended by officers from various departments under the district administration, esteemed scholars (ulema) from all schools of thought, and officials from law enforcement agencies.
On this occasion, the respected scholars representing different schools of thought presented their suggestions and concerns regarding the arrangements for the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal, the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH). These included demands to avoid power load-shedding, ensure the provision of clean drinking water, arrange adequate lighting on roads and pathways, implement robust security measures for close monitoring of the gatherings and processions being held across the district, and establish medical camps.
Deputy Commissioner Qambar Shahdadkot Kamran Hussain Mushtaq issued directives to SEPCO officials, stating that no load-shedding should occur across the entire district on the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal. He also directed Rescue 1122 officials to keep staff and necessary resources on standby to handle any emergency situation on that day.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the ADHO (Additional District Health Officer) Qambar to ensure that doctors and paramedical staff are present at all hospitals across the district on the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal without exception, so that any emergent situation can be addressed in a timely manner.
He directed officers of the Municipal and Town Committees to ensure thorough cleanliness on roads and pathways, provision of clean drinking water, and proper lighting arrangements, so that citizens and procession participants do not face any inconvenience.
Furthermore, while issuing directives to police officers, the Deputy Commissioner stated that foolproof security must be provided for all gatherings and processions taking place across the district on the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal.
He directed the Assistant Commissioners of all tehsils to establish control rooms in their respective jurisdictions regarding the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal, so that any issues can be resolved immediately. Finally, a special prayer was offered for the security, prosperity, and stability of the country and the nation.
