District-wide Kashmir solidarity campaign on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir launched in Dera


Dera ismail khan: The district administration on Wednesday launched a district-wide awareness campaign to commemorate Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, reaffirming solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).



The campaign was organized in compliance with the directives of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of province-wide observances marking August 5, the day widely observed as Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir.



As part of the initiative, special Kashmir solidarity banners and Kashmiri flags were displayed at major roads, public buildings, markets, intersections and other prominent public places across the district.



The displays were intended to convey a message of unity with the Kashmiri people and draw public attention to the significance of the day.



District officials said the awareness campaign aimed to educate citizens about the events of August 5, 2019, and to highlight Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support for the people of Kashmir.



They noted that the campaign also sought to encourage public participation in activities organized to observe the occasion and reinforce the message of peace, justice and the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination.



The district administration emphasized that Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir serves as an opportunity to express unwavering solidarity with the people of Kashmir and to reaffirm support for efforts aimed at peacefully resolving the longstanding dispute in accordance with relevant international resolutions.
