DPO Tank vows effective security measures for traders


Dera ismail khan: President of the Sarafa union Tank. Zahoor Ahmad. along with a delegation of office-bearers and members. called on District Police Officer (DPO) Tank Abdul Samad Khan to discuss security arrangements for the business community. particularly the Sarafa market.



According to police spokesman. during the meeting. they reviewed the prevailing security situation in the district. potential security threats faced by the goldsmith community and to ensure the safety and protection of traders and their businesses.



DPO Abdul Samad Khan directed members of the Sarafa Union to ensure comprehensive security arrangements at their shops. including the installation of quality surveillance cameras. adequate lighting. security equipment and other necessary safety measures.



He emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination and communication between the police and traders. saying that effective cooperation could significantly improve the overall security system.



He also urged traders to immediately report any suspicious activity or unusual situation to the police.



President Zahoor Ahmad and other members of the Sarafa Union appreciated the efforts of the police for ensuring the protection of the business community and expressed their willingness to extend full cooperation to law-enforcement agencies.



The meeting also agreed to convene a special security meeting at the DPO Office Tank soon. where detailed consultations would be held on further strengthening security arrangements at the Sarafa Market and addressing other security-related concerns.
