Faisalabad: Government College Women University Faisalabad in collaboration with the Faisalabad Arts Council organised Naatia Mushaaira and Mehfil-e-Milad (PBUH) at the varsity here on Tuesday,
VC Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen (TI) was chief guest while MPA Qudsia Batool was the guest of honour.
MPA appreciated the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and the Punjab government’s initiatives
to promote the spirit of Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH).
She also presented a beautiful Naat written by her father, Hafiz Muhammad Hussain.
A Soulful Naatia Mushaira featuring renowned poets added to the spiritual atmosphere.
GCWUF alumni, faculty, students and distinguished guests attended the Mehfil, along with Director Faisalabad Arts Council Imran Raza.
The Department of Islamic Studies, Department of Arabic, Character Building Society, and Alumni Association, GCWUF were appreciated for their valuable collaboration and support in organizing the event.
The Mehfil concluded with special prayers for peace and prosperity of Pakistan, unity and well-being
of the Muslim Ummah.
