Hyderabad: A grand Independence Rally was held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam to pay tribute to the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs of Pakistan. promote national unity and express love for the homeland. The rally was led by the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal and was attended in large number by faculty members. officers. employees and students of the university.
According to the SAU spokesperson Gul Sher Lochi. the rally started from the Dr. A. M. Sheikh Auditorium and passed through various university routes before culminating at the Faculty of Crop Production. The participants carried national flags and chanted slogans including ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and ‘Pak Army Paindabad. ‘ expressing their patriotism. commitment to national unity and love for the country.
Addressing the participants upon their arrival at the Faculty of Crop Production. the vice chancellor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal said that Pakistan was the result of the great sacrifices. struggle and unwavering determination of the nation’s elders. He said protecting the country’s independence and contributing to its development was a collective responsibility of every citizen.
He said the sacrifices of the martyrs of independence were a beacon of guidance for the whole nation. and the younger generation must recognize the value of these sacrifices and make knowledge. research. character and hard work their guiding principles for the development. prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
Chairman. Student-Teacher Engagement Program Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar said that the freedom and security of Pakistan had been secured through the unparalleled sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs and personnel of security institutions.
He said the best way to pay true tribute to the martyrs of independence and the defenders of the homeland was to perform one’s duties with honesty. hard work and responsibility. while contributing to the progress. unity and prosperity of Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the event. a special prayer was offered for the security. progress. prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
