Indictment in TikToker Ayesha Jutt’s case deferred

Lahore: A sessions court on Monday deferred the indictment of YouTuber Rajab Butt and other accused in a case involving the allegations of sexual assault.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab Chadhar heard the complaint filed by TikToker Ayesha Jutt.

Accused, Rajab Butt, Salman Haider, Abdul Rehman, Jahangir and Jawad appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

During the proceedings, a junior lawyer informed the court that Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq and Advocate Rana Abdul Maroof were busy attending other cases and requested that a new date be fixed for the hearing.

The court accepted the request and adjourned the proceedings until September 3.

Ayesha Jutt had filed a private complaint against Rajab Butt, Salman and others, accusing them of sexual assault.
