Bahawalpur: The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Airline to offer discounted air travel facilities to its students.
According to an official press here on Sunday, the agreement aims to facilitate both individual and group air travel for the student body at subsidized rates.
Welcoming the initiative, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran stated that the partnership with the private airline would directly benefit students traveling for academic and personal purposes across the country.
Providing further details of the agreement, Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha highlighted that the collaboration extends beyond discounted airfares. He added that South Airline will also actively support and sponsor major campus events, including academic seminars, annual job fairs, educational conferences, and marketing activities organized by the university.
