Peshawar: Awami National Party (ANP) President Senator Aimal Wali Khan said the ANP is the party of martyrs and that every person who sacrificed their life for the peace, stability and protection of the people is a martyr of the entire nation.
In his message on Police Martyrs’ Day, Aimal Wali Khan said on Tuesday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had made the greatest sacrifices in war against terrorism.
He said the province had witnessed countless funerals of martyrs, while the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the provincial police had rendered exemplary sacrifices to restore and maintain peace.
He praised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for remaining on the front lines during every difficult phase of the fight against terrorism, demonstrating unwavering courage and commitment to protecting the public.
Aimal Wali Khan said that despite limited resources, persistent threats and challenging conditions, the police force remained determined and wrote a remarkable history of bravery and sacrifice that would always be remembered.
Paying tribute to all police martyrs on Police Martyrs’ Day, he also saluted their families for their patience, resilience and selflessness, reaffirming the commitment to continue the struggle against terrorism, extremism and all forms of hatred.
