Quetta: Commissioner Lasbela Division Saira Atta on Thursday issued orders to the officers of the relevant departments to complete the development projects within the stipulated time so that the public can benefit from these projects without delay.
She said this while inspecting to developments projects of various departments including Commissioner Complex, Civil 50-bed District Headquarters Hospital, Uthal and Bypass Road project.
The commissioner was briefed regarding progress of ongoing development projects by concerned officials.
While reviewing various ongoing development schemes, Commissioner Saira Atta issued orders to the officers of the relevant departments to complete the development projects within the stipulated time.
She stressed on quality in projects and ensuring complete adherence to the set standards and rules and regulations in construction work.
She said that the Balochistan government is working on various projects for the provision of basic amenities to the people and sustainable development of the area, timely completion of development schemes would not only provide better facilities to the citizens but could also further strengthen the development process in the area.
She directed the concerned authorities to regularly monitor development projects and maintain an effective monitoring system in the field to ensure the quality of work.
The commissioner made it clear to the officers that delays in public interest projects will not be tolerated and all schemes should be completed in a transparent manner.
The district officers briefed the commissioner on the progress of ongoing development schemes and highlighted current challenges.
The commissioner directed the officers to take necessary steps to resolve the problems faced and to further accelerate the pace of development works.
The commissioner expressed satisfaction with the construction work of the BandR Building.
On this occasion, DHO Lasbela Dr. Faridullah Shah Hashmi, Acting MS Dr. Tassaduq Nadeem, SDOB BandR Road Zaheer Ahmed Baloch, SDOB BandR Building Latif Baloch, Engineer Najeeb Baloch, Superintendent Commissioner Lasbela Ghulam Murtaza Sheikh, Contractor Shams Durrani, Engineer Safar Baloch and others were also present.
