Law minister pays tribute to police martyrs


Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs, Advocate Aftab Alam on Tuesday paid glowing tribute to the police martyrs on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day saying their supreme sacrifices would always be remembered by the nation.



In a special message, the minister said the day served as a reminder of the extraordinary courage and unwavering commitment of police personnel who sacrificed their lives to ensure peace, uphold the rule of law, protect the lives and property of citizens and eliminate terrorism.



He said the martyrs of KP police had written a remarkable chapter in the country’s history through their sacrifices, strengthening the cause of peace, justice and law enforcement. He added that the entire nation took pride in their unmatched bravery and selfless service.



Aftab Alam also paid tribute to the families of the martyrs, describing their patience, resilience and courage as a source of inspiration for the nation. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to honor the sacrifices of the fallen heroes and ensuring the welfare and support of their families.



The minister further stated that the sacrifices of police martyrs call for renewed national resolve to uphold peace, justice and the rule of law. He urged all segments of society to fulfil their responsibilities in carrying forward the noble mission for which the martyrs laid down their lives.
