Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Senator Pervez Rashid criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for allegedly making unnecessary moves to cover up its political failures and gain public sympathy.
Talking to the media outside Parliament House, Rashid said the scene outside the hospital, where the jailed PTI founder was scheduled to undergo a medical check-up, appeared as if a spectacle was about to take place, with people gathering to watch it.
He condemned those who created hurdles on that day and suggested that the PTI leadership should instead seek action against those responsible for creating the obstacles.
Commenting on the political situation, the PML-N senator dismissed speculation about any political move against the government. ‘Some people may wish for lava to erupt somewhere, but so far, such wishes have been doused,’ he remarked.
