Quetta: Panjgur Police arrested four alleged thieves involved in case of robbery at Ishaqia Football Ground and Haji Ghazi Surdu area of the district on Wednesday.
According to the police sources, a raid was conducted in Sarawan area on a tip-off and apprehended four thieves involved in case of robbery. The mobile phones snatched from the possession of the arrested suspects, the jeep used in the incident and a 9 mm pistol were recovered and taken into custody.
The arrested suspects included Hammad, Imran, Saddam, residents of Tasp, and Ahmed, resident of Haji Ghazi Surdu, Panjgur.
The police source said that raids conducted at various places and arrested another suspect involved in the crime incident, Nimroz, resident of Tasp, and recovered weapons from his possession.
Panjgur Police have said that the protection of public life and property and operations against criminal elements would continue in a more effective manner, while all possible measures are being taken to establish peace and order in the area and eliminate crime with the cooperation of the public.
