Dera ismail khan:A meeting of the district price assessment committee, South Waziristan Upper was held to review the price assessment of pending land acquisition cases in the area.
Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali Khan chaired the meeting attended by the additional deputy commissioner, assistant commissioner Ladha, additional assistant commissioner Sarwekai, district sports officer, Tehsildars of Sarwekai and Ladha subdivisions and Naib Tehsildar Sararogha.
The committee reviewed the rates of land involved in pending acquisition cases, along with relevant records and other necessary matters. It discussed in detail the assessment of land rates, keeping in view the nature, location and other relevant factors associated with each case.
The deputy commissioner directed the concerned officials to take effective steps to dispose of the pending land acquisition cases on a priority basis in accordance with legal requirements. He also emphasized that transparency, merit and due process must be ensured throughout the rate assessment procedure.
