Quetta: On special directive of Commissioner Lasbela Division Saira Atta, rallies were taken in Hub and Lasbela area on the occasion of August 5th “Kashmir Exploitation Day” (Youm-e-Istehsal) to show solidarities with Kashmiri people of (IIOJK) on Wednesday.
The industrial city Hub Kashmir would become a hub, echoing with the slogans of Pakistan, the rally was led by Assistant Commissioner Mahim Jan and civil society leader Yaqoob Sasoli.
Chairman District Council Javed Jamali, large of students and citizens of schools participated in the solidarity of rally.
Addressing the rally, the speakers said that the aim of celebrating Kashmir Exploitation Day is to convince the world, including India and Israel, that Pakistan would fight the cause of Kashmiris at every forum.
They highlighted that the sacrifices of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), people for self-determination would not go in vain saying that entire nation stands with the Kashmiri people till their self-determination.
The participants of the rally raised slogans in favor of Kashmiri people and demanding world communities to take vital role for addressing issue of occupied Kashmir for interest of peace in the region.
Special programs were organized in educational institutions to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and highlight Indian atrocities.
Under the supervision of the district administration, awareness programs, seminars, quizzes, tableaux and speech competitions were held in government schools.
On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day
Special programs were also arranged to celebrate Kashmir Exploitation Day in Lasbela Division, debates on Indian colonial policies and competitions between students were organized.
A solidarity rally was organized under the leadership of political and social figures at the official level under the supervision of the administration, like other parts of the country, the people of Lasbela Division (Balochistan) stood with the Kashmiris.
