Abbottabad: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker and MPA Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, MNA Ali Khan Jadoon and former Provincial Food Minister Alhaj Qalandar Khan Lodhi on Sunday formally inaugurated several road development projects worth Rs235 million in their constituency.
A large number of local elders and residents attended the inauguration ceremony. The projects include blacktopping of Paswal Banda-Nabi Road at a cost of Rs200 million, PCC Kakot Road costing Rs10 million, PCC Link Road Shahkot costing Rs8 million, PCC Ghora Gali-Mohra Stop Road costing Rs5 million, PCC Road Ghora costing Rs5 million and PCC Road Lalay Di Bandi costing Rs5 million.
The speakers directed the relevant authorities to commence work on the projects at the earliest and ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining the required quality standards.
Addressing the gathering, they said the projects would improve road infrastructure, facilitate transportation and ease the difficulties faced by local residents. They reaffirmed that public service, provision of basic facilities and the overall development of the area remained their top priorities, adding that development activities aimed at public welfare would continue without interruption.
