Dera ismail khan: Two people were killed while two others sustained injuries in two separate road accidents in the Sere Khoware area of Darazinda and on Dera-Chashma Road, Rescue 1122 and local sources said on Sunday.
According to details, a passenger vehicle (Datson) loaded with onions and travelling from Balochistan went out of control after its brakes failed while negotiating an uphill section near Sere Khoware in Tehsil Darazinda.
As a result, one person, identified as Aki Khan Gul, died in the accident, while Islam Badshah and Khan Badshah sustained injuries.
On receiving information, Rescue 1122 teams reached the site and provided first aid to the injured before shifting them to a hospital for further treatment.
In a separate incident, a motorcyclist, Haroon Baloch, son of Ghulam Jilani and resident of Mandhran Kalan, was killed when his motorcycle met with an accident near Singhar Adda on Dera-Chashma Road.
