Sialkot: A meeting of the Departmental Committee on Small Business Development was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Muhammad Shahid Inam, Executive Committee Member and Chairman of the Departmental Committee at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Auditorium.
The meeting focused on matters related to the development and promotion of small businesses, with particular emphasis on strengthening support for Sialkot’s export-oriented industries.
Project Directors of the Metal Industries Development Centre (MIDC) and Sports Industries Development Centre (SIDC) were also invited to brief the committee on their respective projects, facilities and services.
The officials highlighted the support and facilities being provided by their centres to the export industry of Sialkot. The committee discussed ways to further facilitate local businesses and exporters through improved technical support, modern facilities and institutional cooperation.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening small businesses and enhancing the competitiveness of Sialkot’s export sector through effective support mechanisms and collaboration among relevant institutions.
