Lahore: Police have arrested seven accused who allegedly resorted to aerial firing in the Nishtar Colony area market.
According to police spokesperson, the Nishtar Colony police took action and arrested the accused involved in the firing. CCTV footage of the incident has also emerged, in which the accused can be seen allegedly firing in the air in the market.
According to the spokesperson, the arrested accused included Hasnain, Zeeshan, Sikandar, Ehsan, Ali Safir and Mohsin, among others.
According to police, two pistols, pump action and bullets have been recovered from the possession of the accused, while a case has also been registered against them.
The police have also taken into custody the motorcycles used by the accused.
According to the SP Model Town, indiscriminate action is being taken against the elements endangering the lives and property of the citizens and strict action will be taken against the accused involved in aerial firing as per the law.
