Multan: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Faisal Saleem, along with Managing Director Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Syed Wasim Hasan, visited Shah Shams park and Eidgah park to review ongoing development and landscaping projects. During the visit, the officials inspected the development work on the lake and caf© at Shah Shams park. MD PHA Syed Wasim Hasan briefed the deputy commissioner on the progress of projects and other initiatives being undertaken to improve recreational facilities in the city.
Dr Faisal Saleem directed the authorities to complete the development projects at the earliest while ensuring quality, transparency. He said Shah Shams Park would become an excellent recreational facility for citizens. He directed the department concerned to equip all parks across the city with better public facilities and undertake extensive plantation along green belts. Syed Wasim Hasan said the PHA was implementing the Punjab chief minister’s green vision by upgrading parks and green belts across Multan. He said extensive plantation had been carried out in the city during July and August. He added that Shah Shams Park would be developed on modern lines and equipped with improved recreational facilities for citizens.
