ADCMS reviews cleanliness situation in city


Sargodha: Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Muhammad Atif Sindhu visited different areas of the city on Sunday and reviewed the situation after the ongoing cleanliness operation under Suthra Punjab on the spot. ADCMS made a surprise visit to Sulemanpura, Babu Mohalla, Hameed Town, Backside of Hilal Ahmar Hospital, Istiqlalabad, Quaid-e-Azam Colony, Old Civil Line and Luck Colony and other urban areas.



He reviewed the post-cleaning situation at various locations, timely collection of garbage from streets and roads and overall cleaning arrangements. Muhammad Atif Sindhu also took direct feedback from the citizens regarding cleanliness and inquired about the cleanliness situation in different areas, garbage collection process and problems faced.



He directed the officers of the Suthra Punjab Agency to immediately address the complaints and suggestions of the citizens and maintain the standard of cleanliness at all costs. He said that effective monitoring of cleanliness process would continue under the Suthra Punjab program. The aim of surprise visits to different areas of the city was to review the ground situation of the cleanliness operation and to make the arrangements more effective to provide a clean environment to the citizens. The ADCMS clarified that negligence or laxity in cleanliness matters would not be tolerated and along with continuous monitoring of the cleanliness operation, redressal of the complaints of citizens would also be ensured.
