Karachi: State Bank of Pakistan, all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-Sallam).
‘The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 (i.e. 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1448 A.H.) on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-Sallam),’ a circular letter issued by Banking Policy and Regulations Department (BPRD) of the central bank stated.
Subsequently, all banks, Micro Finance Banks (MFBs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) will also remain closed on Wednesday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-Sallam).
