Bahawalpur: Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hasan Raza, visited the under-construction PERA Force Saddar Sub Division building to review ongoing development and construction work. During the visit, the commissioner received a briefing from the deputy commissioner on the progress of construction activities, overall development status, and the expected timeline for completion. He also inspected the quality of construction materials, various stages of work, and the pace of construction.
Commissioner Irfan Kathia directed the relevant authorities to ensure that construction quality was not compromised under any circumstances and that all work was carried out in accordance with the standards and regulations prescribed by the Punjab government. He stressed that the project should be completed transparently and within the stipulated timeframe so that the concerned department could benefit from improved facilities at the earliest.
The commissioner further directed that development projects aimed at public welfare should be continuously and effectively monitored, with particular attention given to construction quality, pace of work, and achievement of prescribed targets. Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza informed the commissioner that the quality and progress of construction work were being regularly monitored and that all necessary measures were being taken to complete the project on time and according to the prescribed standards.
