Faisalabad: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) would remain closed on Wednesday (August 26, 2026) on account of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, as the business community joins the Muslim Ummah in commemorating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
FCCI President Farooq Yousuf Sheikh, Senior Vice President Naveed Akram Sheikh and Vice President Engineer Asim Munir extended their heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion, praying that the day would inspire renewed commitment to the noble teachings and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
In their message, FCCI office-bearers said that birth of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), the Mercy for all the worlds, is a source of guidance, peace and blessings for humanity. They stressed that the occasion should not be confined to celebrations but should also serve as an opportunity to reflect upon and adopt the principles of justice, honesty, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity embodied in his teachings.
They expressed hope that the business community of Faisalabad in particular would strive to conduct its commercial and professional affairs in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), thereby earning success and blessings in both this world and the hereafter.
The FCCI leadership also emphasized the importance of promoting harmony, brotherhood and mutual respect in society, saying that adherence to the Prophet’s (Peace Be Upon Him) teachings could help foster a more just, peaceful and prosperous social and economic environment.
The chamber’s closure on Wednesday would be observed in connection with the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations, enabling its officials, members and the business community to participate in religious observances marking the blessed occasion.
