Lahore: Punjab Health Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique and Khawaja Imran Nazir, along with former Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Rohail Asghar, inaugurated the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic at Joray Pul on Friday.
Chairmen of various Union Councils and a large number of local residents attended the ceremony and warmly welcomed the guests. The provincial health ministers also inspected the medical facilities available at the clinic.
Khawaja Salman Rafique said the Punjab government was striving to provide quality healthcare facilities to people at their doorsteps in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He said the government had taken fundamental and historic measures to improve the health sector.
Khawaja Imran Nazir said the Maryam Nawaz Clinic would provide quality medical services to thousands of patients, adding that provision of excellent healthcare to the people was among the Punjab government’s top priorities.
Sheikh Rohail Asghar said Pakistan’s journey towards progress was continuing, adding that the PML-N government had always served the people whenever it was in power.
