Minister pays tribute to Balochistan Police Martyrs


Quetta: Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove on Thursday said that the officers and personnel of Balochistan Police have rendered invaluable sacrifices for the establishment of peace law and order in the province, and their services would always be acknowledged.



Addressing as chief guest at the Police Martyrs’ Day ceremony, he noted that Balochistan was a sensitive province facing terrorism and diverse security challenges. Despite these difficulties, the police force had played a pivotal role in maintaining peace through professionalism and courage. He assured that Balochistan Police would be equipped with modern weapons and technology to meet future challenges effectively.



Zia Langove emphasized that the protection of people’s lives and property has always been the foremost priority of the police, who had fulfilled their responsibilities with dedication in every testing time. He pledged that the provincial government would never forget the great sacrifices of the martyrs and would continue to take all possible measures for the welfare of their families.



‘The respect of martyrs is obligatory upon us all, for it is their sacrifices that have secured peace today, ‘ he said, paying tribute to the officers and personnel of Balochistan Police. He added that their services were a source of pride for the entire nation.



The Home Minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to transform Balochistan into a cradle of peace, progress, and prosperity through the collective efforts of the police, other law-enforcement agencies, and the people.
