Muzaffargarh: A motorcyclist was killed while his wife and two-month-old daughter sustained injuries in a road accident near Thermal Bypass on DG Khan Road, here on Saturday. According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when the motorcyclist Farooq(22), was riding at a high speed, attempted to overtake an oil tanker. He lost control of the motorcycle and fell onto the road, died on the spot.
while, his wife, Alishba(20), suffered a deep wound to her forehead, while their two-month-old daughter sustained scratches on various parts of her body. Rescue personnel provided first aid to the injured before shifting them to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for further treatment. The body of the deceased was covered with a sheet at the accident site.
The empty oil tanker was later removed from the road. Rescue officials said there was no oil leakage from the tanker.
