Quetta: The newly appointed Secretary of the Women Development Department, Sher Shah Ghilzai on Monday called on Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, and briefed her in detail on the department’s performance, ongoing projects, various programmes, and overall departmental affairs.
During the meeting, Secretary Sher Shah Ghilzai apprised the Adviser of the initiatives being undertaken by the department for the welfare, development, and protection of women, as well as efforts aimed at their economic and social empowerment.
Reviewing the department’s performance, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi stressed the need to further strengthen and enhance initiatives aimed at women’s development and ensuring their effective and dignified participation in society.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi said that the welfare of women and the provision of equal opportunities for their advancement remain among the key priorities of the Government of Balochistan.
The Adviser directed the department to ensure transparency, effective monitoring, and improved service delivery in all its affairs.
She further emphasized that the benefits of government programmes designed for women must reach communities in the remote and underserved areas of the province.
