Sindh illuminates famous shrines, mosques to celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi


Karachi: The Sindh Department of Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr has beautifully illuminated famous shrines, mosques, and religious sites across the province with decorative lights to celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him).



In Karachi, the shrines of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Dargah Syed Ali Sarmast, Dargah Syed Noor Ali Shah, Dargah Misri Shah Ghazi, Dargah Juman Shah, Dargah Chilla Miran Dattar, Dargah Khande Shah and other prominent shrines have been illuminated.



Similarly, the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif, the shrine of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in Matiari, Bhit Shah, along with other religious sites and mosques, have also been decorated with attractive lighting.



According to the spokesperson for the Auqaf Department, the illumination and decorative arrangements at shrines, mosques and religious sites aim to provide devotees, pilgrims and citizens with a peaceful, spiritual and pleasant environment on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH).



Officers and officials of the Auqaf Department and other relevant institutions are actively working to ensure these arrangements.



The spokesperson said that the special lighting and decorative arrangements at various shrines and mosques have further enhanced the atmosphere of devotion, religious enthusiasm and spiritual fervour during the Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH), celebrations.



The spokesperson further stated that the Sindh Government is taking all possible measures to provide a safe and peaceful environment to citizens and visitors on religious festivals and sacred occasions.



Relevant institutions are performing their responsibilities to ensure effective security, sanitation, traffic management and other administrative arrangements during Eid Milad un Nabi.



According to the spokesperson, in accordance with the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and special instructions of Sindh Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, the Auqaf Department has made effective arrangements for the provision of necessary facilities to devotees and lovers of the holy Prophet (PBUH), at religious sites across the province.
