Mirpurkhas: The students of Sindhri Tehsil have excelled in the Pre-Engineering Group of the Intermediate Part-II annual examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpurkhas, securing the top three positions, including a female student belonging to the minority community.
According to an announcement issued by Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpurkhas, Colonel (Retd.) Dr. Syed Almdar Raza, the board has announced the results of the Class XII (Pre-Engineering Group) annual examinations for 2026.
A total of 5,253 candidates appeared in the Pre-Engineering Group examinations, with an overall 84.69 percent passing rate.
According to the announcement, two students jointly secured first position. Sarim, son of Karim Bakhsh, Seat No. 52266, of Government (Boys) Degree College Sindhri 12-Mile, and Nandika Kumari, daughter of Mukesh Kumar, Seat No. 56136, of Sindh Public Higher Secondary School Umerkot, secured 957 marks each.
Vim Lawani, son of Chandar Prakash, Seat No. 51381, of Government Higher Secondary School Naukot, secured second position with 956 marks, while Lachhman Das, son of Khanghar, Seat No. 52222, of Government (Boys) Degree College Sindhri 12-Mile, secured third position with 955 marks.
According to the results, 549 candidates obtained A Grade, 1,757 B Grade, 1,545 C Grade, 515 D Grade and 34 candidates obtained E Grade, while 826 students could not qualify.
