Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday congratulated the entire nation and especially the people of Balochistan on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
He said that the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) is a great blessing of Allah Almighty for the entire humanity, His (PBUH) good life is a perfect example of love, brotherhood, tolerance, justice, equality, tolerance and service to humanity for us.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) reminds us to follow the teachings of this great personality who brought humanity out of the darkness of ignorance, oppression and injustice and gave it the light of knowledge, justice and brotherhood.
He mentioned that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) laid special emphasis on protecting the rights of the weaker sections of the society, orphans, the poor, women and the needy.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a complete code of life for us, He (PBUH) made justice and fairness, honesty, trust, equality and mutual respect the foundation of society.
He maintained that the challenges we face today could also be met by making these same golden principles a part of our individual and collective lives adding that Pakistan is an Islamic democratic state and our national identity is linked to the teachings of Islam of peace, security, brotherhood and love for humanity.
The CM said that on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), we should pledge that we would promote unity, tolerance and mutual respect instead of hatred, prejudice, extremism and division in our society.
He said that Balochistan is a beautiful blend of different nations, tribes, languages and cultures, all the citizens living here are equal for us, the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) teach us equality, brotherhood and fulfillment of rights among human beings.
Promoting peace, brotherhood and inter-faith and inter-religious harmony in the province is the common responsibility of all of us, he explained.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the government of Balochistan is taking steps for the welfare, peace and order, education, health and economic development of the people, giving priority to the needs of the weak and deprived classes in fulfilling state responsibilities is also among the basic teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The CM stated that on this day, we should especially remember our brothers and sisters who are facing difficulties, poverty and other problems, on this occasion of joy, sharing our joys with the deserving, helping the needy and supporting the weaker sections of the society is truly a practical expression of love for Seerat-un-Nabi.
He urged the people to maintain peace and order, religious tolerance and brotherhood during Eid Milad-un-Nabi gatherings and other religious celebrations and to respect each other’s beliefs and sentiments.
Bugti said that on this day, we should also pledge that we would perform our duties honestly and responsibly for the development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan, only a strong, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan could ensure a better future for our coming generations.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti prayed that Allah Almighty grant us the ability to follow the noble path of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), grant peace and stability to Pakistan and progress and prosperity to Balochistan, protect the country and nation from all kinds of difficulties, and shower His blessings on the entire Muslim Ummah.
