Bahawalpur: Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza visited the office of the Sub-Registrar Bahawalpur City and reviewed the property registration process and public facilities being provided to
citizens.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner met citizens who had come to the office for property
registration and listened to their concerns and problems directly. He issued necessary instructions to the relevant officials for the prompt resolution of the issues raised by the applicants.
Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza directed the Sub-Registrar to ensure that all cases of citizens appearing for registration were dealt with on a priority basis and that no registration case was kept pending without valid justification.
He said citizens travelling from distant areas should be spared unnecessary waiting and repeated visits to government offices, while all legitimate cases should be processed and completed promptly within the prescribed timeframe.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to ensure transparency, merit and complete compliance with the relevant rules and regulations throughout the registration process. He said providing citizens with better, timely and dignified services at government offices was a top priority of the district administration. He made it clear that negligence or unnecessary delays in facilitating citizens would not be tolerated.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the office administration to pay particular attention to cleanliness, proper maintenance and preservation of official records, necessary arrangements for applicants and improvement of the overall working environment. He stressed that, alongside strict adherence to laws and regulations in the performance of official duties, timely resolution of citizens’ issues and effective relief to the public must also be ensured.
