Kohat: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Kohat Region Irfan Tariq, PSP, has ordered the immediate dismissal of former Station House Officer (SHO) Laachi, Muhammad Jaber Khan, from police service as part of departmental accountability measures.
According to official sources, the action was taken on Saturday, under the ongoing drive to strengthen transparency, discipline and professional standards within the police force. The regional police leadership reiterated that strict compliance with departmental rules and professional conduct was essential for maintaining an effective and accountable police force.
DIG Irfan Tariq emphasized that accountability was vital to maintaining public confidence in the police department, adding that officers found guilty of misconduct would not be allowed to remain in service.
