Quetta: The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has forecast mainly hot weather across most districts of Balochistan over the next 48-72 hours, with very hot conditions expected in Nokundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Noshki, Dera Bugti, Sibi, and parts of Awaran and Naseerabad Division.
According to the weather chart issued by the National PDMA Monsoon Cell, partly cloudy conditions with chances of light rain are likely at isolated places in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhail, Ziarat, Kohlu, Harnai, and Khuzdar districts. The forecast also warns of occasional gusty winds in most parts of the province.
Temperature readings show Turbat recorded the maximum temperature at 41.5°C, while Ormara registered the minimum at 31.0°C. Other notable temperatures include Usta Muhammad and Khuzdar at 36.5°C, Lasbella at 37.0°C, Quetta at 35.0°C, Gwadar at 31.5°C, and Jiwani at 31.0°C.
The Meteorological Center emphasized that hot conditions will dominate most districts, urging residents to take precautions against heat and strong winds.
