Bahawalpur: A special Independence Day ceremony was held at Dar-ul-Atfal, Islami Colony, Bahawalpur, with Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia as the chief guest.
Regional Police Officer Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza, DPO Rana Abdul Wahab and other administrative and social welfare officials attended the ceremony.
The children participated enthusiastically in Independence Day activities and expressed their patriotic spirit. Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia and other officials distributed new clothes, shoes and sweets among them, sharing the joy of the national day.
The officials interacted with the children and highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s independence, the sacrifices made for its creation and the responsibilities of citizens towards the country.
The ceremony aimed to include the children in national celebrations and promote patriotism, unity and love for Pakistan. It concluded with prayers for the country’s progress, prosperity, security and stability.
